COGNITIVE ECOLOGY OF ORCHID BEES

I study animal learning and my research explores animal learning theory in the context of pollination. More specifically, I study how tropical orchid bees use information on flower color to make decisions, and how these bees are evolutionarily prepared to learn some signal associations better than others.
